About dogs 
The numerous group of hounds completes and several retrievers. Retrievers are specialized for the work in water, they are excellent swimmers, which the water is not damaging the hair, and coldness of water does not influence considerably on the state of health of alone dog. Extraordinary are adaptable to owner, obedient and operational! Although being maybe the plainest from the group of retrievers, deserves the high place on usability and distribution. As the trailer and the guide of blind people, his only competitor, more or less is the Alsatian. In the 18TH and 19th century on Newfoundland were
dispersed dogs similar to today's Labrador, which then chroniclers had called: larger and smaller Newfoundland. From old records can be viewed the respect that people had expressed towards smaller. They had followed fishermen, helped them in pulling out the nets, and as they have been extraordinary swimmers and grebes (!!!), they became famous rescuing men from the icy water.
